80's

I did this around 1983 I think. I made it as part of a little book for my daughter, Emily who was born in '81. The car was a new Toyota Tercel which was a very fancy car for us at the time.

Phoenix

This is the backyard barbeque version. It's a new year. I even got to see a wild swan this week!

Peace

And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! Peace and love to all! I love you guys!

Help

Miracles help.

Mask

Well, daahling I've posted this before. But be a dear now, won"t you, and forgive me this itsy-bitsy oversight. I've been frightfully overstretched and this seemed simply too too apropos. Thanks ever so much!

Might

If Sunshine Girl had realized she would be placed on the shelf betwixt the infamous gingham dog and calico cat she might have reconsidered.

Invention

Esmerelda Ackerdorf , girl genius, was delighted when her perpetual motion marble chute/time machine was voted numero uno at the Daisy Hill School's annual science fair.

Thanksgiving

Ragdoll"s friend was overjoyed and surprised (plus relieved) when Ragdoll prepared a scrumptious feast of specially roasted acorns.

"Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving" Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm just grateful for a holiday that is at least relatively noncommercial.

Clear

It came upon a midnight clear that glorious song of old from angels bending near the earth to touch their harps of gold.

Smoke

Ragdoll lived way way out in the country. She was down to earth and grew all her own food and loved to bake her own bread.

Wind

Hurray for dandelions!

ghost

It was a dark and stormy night.

Smitten

The mean dragon bothering the castle was smitten by the brave knight.

quiet

"...in quietness and trust is your strength..." from the book of Isaiah.

Phobia

Fear of puppets or Pupaphobia - both debilitating and all encompassing.

Change

"The falling leaves drift by my window, the autumn leaves of red and gold." My dad used to sing us that song - so bittersweet.
