Gorgeous! It reminds me of a children's book idea I've had for many many year, about drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. If I ever finish it, I'll let you know, and see if you'd like to illustrate it.By the way, I tagged you in a post yesterday - if you're at all interested in stepping out (a little) from the parameters of your blog. Swell little story !
Loved reading this. Lovely illustrations too.
What a sweet story, so charmingly illustrated! How fun to remember the sharpened popsicle sticks, (we only used them as weapons! ;o)) and the nice neighbors who encouraged your creative efforts! :o)
Really like the little kids and they idea. :)

So magical!Love the sequential story spread here!
Wonderful illustrations and story, Kay! We sharpened them, too, but our creativity seemed to stop there :o)I long to see you with a published book. I think you have a remarkable talent my friend!
